Autism
Multi-Disciplinary Autism Team

Services are provided to children from birth to 18 years of age.

Description of Services:

1. Autism Assessment:
   Provide a multi-disciplinary assessment to determine whether the child meets the criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder
2. Autism Family Support:
   Provide family support and guidance to parents using a consultation/mediator model.
   Educate families on Pervasive Developmental Disorders and the latest treatment techniques, individually or through a parent support group and Newsletter.
   Assist/advocate for families in accessing additional services e.g. Special Services at Home, Assistance for Children with Severe Disability and Wesway.
